Know Your Benefits Tea

Tea (Camellia sinensis [L.] Kuntze) is generally grown on plantations, harvested manually, and can grow at an altitude of 200 to 2300 m above sea level. These plants originated from the northern Indian region and South China. There are two groups of well-known varieties, namely var.

assamica from Assam and var. sinensis from China. Variety assamica rather large leaves with a pointed tip, whereas the varieties sinensis leaves are smaller and somewhat blunt ends.
